Does BirdReply post to Reddit automatically?

No. Automated bot replies violate Reddit guidelines and hurt merchant brand reputation. BirdReply suggests high-value drafts that you review, approve, and submit from your own account.

What Shopify data does BirdReply access?

BirdReply requests only read-only catalog access (product titles, descriptions, types, tags, public handle, and images) to query relevant discussions. We do not access customer personal data, orders, or billing information.

How do I avoid getting flagged as spam on Reddit?

Always lead with genuinely helpful advice that directly solves the original poster's question before mentioning any product. Always include a transparent affiliation disclosure (e.g. "Full disclosure: I make this product").

How do I uninstall the app?

Go to Shopify Admin → Settings → Apps, find BirdReply, and click Uninstall. Our servers receive Shopify's uninstall webhook, immediately revoke access tokens, and purge all store sessions.

BirdReply operates an AWS Lambda serverless backend integrated with Shopify App Bridge and Remix. All requests are encrypted using TLS 1.3. Mandatory Shopify compliance webhooks (customers/data_request, customers/redact, shop/redact) are fully supported with automated 24-hour redaction workflows.
